Appendix One:
  Synopsis of Mexican Legislation on Business, Investment and Trade (Major Codes, Federal Statutes and Regulations) provides a comprehensive synopsis of Mexico's legislation in force arranged systematically in alphabetical order in forty practical areas of Mexican law governing business, investment and trade. Each of the major statutes regulations and codes is summarized for the benefit of legal practitioners, entrepreneurs and investors not familiar with Mexican law.

   
  Each entry contains: a) The official title of the code, regulation and federal statute in English and Spanish; b) The date of its publication in the Diario Oficial de la Federación (Mexico's equivalent to the Federal Register); and c) A concise description of the content and legal importance of the code, statute or regulation in question.
   
Appendix Two:
  Table of International Agreements in Force between Mexico and the United States. It contains a complete list of the bilateral agreements in force between Mexico and the United States in the areas of business, investment and trade. The list was approved by Mexico's Secretariat of Foreign Affairs (Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores) and its based in its official publication: SRE: Tratados en Vigor which closely parallels the U.S. Department of State annual publication: Treaties in Force.
   
Appendix Three:
  Table of International Agreements in force between Mexico and Canada. It contains the complete list of the bilateral agreements in force between Mexico and Canada. The list was approved by Mexico's SRE and Canada's Ministry of External Affairs.
   
Appendices Four and Five:
  It consists of a directory of Mexican official agencies and private associations, respectively, who provide information on business, investment and trade to legal practitioners and international investors interested in conducting business in Mexico. Each list provides name, address, telephone and fax.
   
Appendix Six:
  This is a list of legal and official acronyms utilized throughout the Republic of Mexico. For example, DOF, FICORCA, FONATUR, INEGI, IVA, SCJ, etc. Each of these acronyms appears in a bilingual format.
   
Appendix Seven:
  This is a list of the Mexican Consulates in the United States and Canada with name, telephone, address and fax.
